Oktoberfest Saturday
A twist on the legendary German beer festival
Grand Pier Oktoberfest in association with Butcombe Brewery
Weston-super-Mare’s Grand Pier will host an Oktoberfest beer festival on the weekend of 6th-7th October. The event will feature at least 20 lines of local real ales and a German-themed menu including Bratwurst sausages and Weiner Schnitzel. The event, which is free to enter, will take place in the conservatory area on the pier’s south deck.
Oompah band ‘Die Heidelberger Boys’ will entertain the crowds each afternoon, along with several acoustic acts. Also in attendance will be characters from science fiction, such as Daleks, who will be collecting money for local charity, BARB (Burnham Area Rescue Boat).
