Party On The Pier DJ Special – Friday 10th February 2012
A selection of Club DJs will play at the venue, including Matt Nelmes (Lost Boys), The Real! Yogi Bear (DJ/Producer) and DJ Party Potter.

The World Famous Drifters – Friday 24th February 2012
The Drifters, who formed in 1953, are one of the biggest selling bands of all time. They have a huge catalogue of over 50 hits, including classics like ‘Saturday Night at the Movies’, ‘Under the Boardwalk’, ‘Up on the Roof’ and ‘Kissing in the Back Row of the Movies’.
The group have sold in excess of 214 million singles and 114 million albums across the world, and they have over 55 years experience in the business, making them one of the longest serving bands in history.

Legends of Weston 2012 – Saturday 10th March
The Grand Pier is about to host its second charity concert in memory of Weston woman Shelly Page.
The first concert, which was one of the first events to be held on the Grand Pier in March 2011, raised £12,500 for Weston Hospicecare.
The second concert will again feature the Legends of Weston including the Cliff Moore Band, Racey, the Moderations, Eastertown, Ryan Inglis and Alex Lipinski.
This year’s concert will feature some of Weston’s top talent both old and new on the same stage. One of Weston’s most famous bands Racey will headline the concert playing there famous chart hits ‘Lay your Love on Me’ & ‘Some Girls’ which reached No 2 in British charts. With a total worldwide record sales of approx 5 million covering the U.K. Europe, Scandinavia, Australia & New Zealand.
Lay your Love on Me’ and ‘Some Girls’ were both awarded Gold discs. Emerging talents Ryan Inglis and Alex Lipinski will be both playing some of their songs for your enjoyment.
We hope to raise even more money for this fantastic local charity.
The concert will take place on Saturday 10th March. Doors open at 6.30pm and tickets are available online or from the Grand Pier shop on the first floor at £9.50. Tickets purchased via this web site will incur a £1 booking fee.
Queen Tribute Act – Friday 16th March 2012
Kings of Queen perform a stunning tribute to Freddie Mercury and Queen, regularly touring the UK . Their excellent vocals and musicianship, together with a unique sense of theatricality, produce a superb visual act.

Comedian Jim Davidson – Friday 30th March 2012
The legendary stand-up comedian Jim Davidson OBE will play a gig at the Grand Pier as part of his UK tour this year.
On Friday 30th March Jim Davidson will bring his own very special brand of humour to Weston-super-Mare.
Jim Davidson is firmly established as one of Britain’s top stand-up comedians and is well known to TV viewers as host of the BBC TV game shows, the Generation Game and Big Break. He received an OBE for his services to charity and has three coveted Showbusiness Personality of the Year awards from the Variety Club of Great Britain, The Grand Order of Water Rats and Comic Heritage.
