The extensive menu specialises in Scottish Steak and fresh fish including Sea Bass, Swordfish, Dover and Lemon Sole. The food is well cooked and of excellent quality, using the finest ingredients with flair and simplicity. The kitchen area is open so you can see the chefs preparing and cooking your meal, cooked to your liking. It is a must for great food lovers, more expensive than most but worth it - homemade cheesecake, specialist sauces and an extensive wine list - all need to be tried to be appreciated!
The restaurant can seat up to 100 guests which makes it a favourite venue for weddings, parties and celebrations, but it is also good for a romantic table for two and smaller groups. The seating area inside has a traditional but luxurious ambience, warm and welcoming, and is spotlessly clean, and there is a paved terrace outside with cover for warm summer days. The Old Thatched Cottage is open all year round for lunch and evening meals, and also has a separate bar. The owner and manager has a wealth of experience, relying heavily on attention to detail and to customers whilst providing good old fashioned service ethics.

An all-you-can-eat restaurant in Bristol, located in the retail park next to Cribbs Causeway, and convenient for anyone shopping at the Mall, visiting the cinema or going bowling, this inexpensive restaurant offers all you can eat for a set price. It’s easy - you just pay at the bar as you go in, eat what you want, then leave when you are finished - there is no waiting to be served and you can select what you want from the varied menu, including starters and desserts - mix and match, or try something new - there is something for everyone!
The restaurant is large, open and airy, with tables of all shapes and sizes. It is open from 1130am till late, so is good for children in the daytime, or adults in the evening.
Preview Buffet Bar pre-pay and self serve system ensure that there is no waiting for meals to be delivered to the table, or for the bill to arrive at the end. The food includes soup, salad, burgers, pizza, pasta, grills, wok, traditional food and desserts. The menus and prices vary as to time of day, but include a selection of foods, English, American, Chinese, Indian, all regularly replenished. There are vegetarian options, and a Sunday roast carvery. The desserts are great and there are unlimited soft drinks as well as a bar which serves cocktails in the evening.

The 350 seater Carvery Company Restaurant and Public Bar is ideally situated amongst cinemas, bowling and shops at Cribbs Causeway, Bristol, and it has built up a regular clientele both at lunchtime and in the evening, with a reputation for good carvery food at reasonable prices. It is open throughout the week, but at its busiest on Sundays when many regulars find it best value for a Sunday roast. The Carvery Company offers a choice of three roast joints everyday at lunchtime and in the evenings too, with all of the usual trimmings, all freshly cooked and prepared on the premises. The chef uses local suppliers and fresh ingredients, and serves traditional English roasts, but he also offers a varied menu, including starters, jacket potatoes, salads, and dishes such as fish and chips, homemade beef lasagne, homemade cottage pie and many more. It has a children’s menu which offers a mini carvery, but also includes the usual favourites - fish, chicken, pasta, or sausages. There is also a takeaway option - this restaurant is so much more than just a Carvery.
The Carvery Company has a comfortable atmosphere in a clean modern environment, with good service from welcoming staff, and is available for hire, seating up to 400 guests - if required, the Carvery team can do everything for you, from food to magicians to balloons, and is an ideal venue for corporate events or special occasions.
