Spin and swing high into the roof vault of the Grand Pier on the Sidewinder ride.
It holds eight passengers, with each person strapped onto a rotating disc, which hangs at the bottom of a giant pendulum.
The disc rotates while the pendulum swings passengers over the first floor railings into the roof void of the main pavilion.
Sidewinder Facts
- Up to 8 riders at a time
- Swings out beyond the balcony barriers!
- Open from 11am
Can I Ride?
- Ride is not suitable if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Ride is not suitable if you are pregnant
- Ride is not suitable if you are under 1.2m (48in)
- Ride is not suitable for persons over 75kg (11.5 stone)
Sidewinder was a cool ride, thanks to the team for letting me have a go even though I’m 24, I’m a big kid at heart!! Can’t wait to go again before I get too old!
