We would like your visit to the Grand Pier to be as enjoyable as possible, the visitor information page provides all the information you need to plan your trip to the Grand Pier.

This section includes Grand Pier opening times, directions, facilities, events and any special requirements you may have such as disabled or wheelchair access.

Grand Pier

Marine Parade, Weston-super-Mare, Somerset BS23 1AL

Traveling From The North

Exit M5 at junction 21, take the third exit towards Weston super Mare and follow signs to sea front and Grand Pier (approximately 3 miles)

Traveling From The South

Exit M5 at junction 22, take third exit towards Weston super Mare and follow the A38 approximately 1 mile. Take first exit on roundabout and follow A370 towards Weston super Mare. Arrive Weston super Mare in approximately 5 miles and follow sea front to Grand Pier.

Coaches

Coaches can drop off customers at the entrance to the Pier. Whilst there is no parking on the Pier, customers can be dropped off in front of the Pier where they can hop on our train and enjoy a ride up to the Pavilion. They can also catch the train back again.

By Rail

Weston super Mare railway station is a 7 minute walk from the Grand Pier. From the station, walk west towards the town and sea front, the Grand Pier is half a mile away.

Rides & Attractions

The Grand Pier offers world class rides & attractions within a world class venue! With attractions including a 250m Go-Kart circuit, 4D Cinema, Childrens Play Area and much more, there is something for everyone at the Grand Pier.

Food & Drink

The Grand Pier provides food & drink for all occasions and tastes. With over 10 different outlets serving freshly prepared snacks, meals including traditional fish & chips and don’t forget our delicious desserts & ice creams.

Events

The Grand Pier will be hosting many fantastic events throughout the year. From concerts to stage shows, circus to TV spectaculars. Grand Pier events are not be missed!

Disabled Access

The Land Trains have wheelchair access to enable our disabled guests to ride up and down the waist of the Pier.

All areas of the Main Pavilion have lift and escalator access. Our Function Rooms also provide full access for our disabled guests

The 4D Cinema has wheelchair access.

There are disabled toilets on all floors and in all areas including ‘private function rooms’.

Pets

We welcome pets onto the boardwalk however, the floors in the Main Pavilion contain the electrics that power the Pier, as well as the machines and rides and they cannot get wet. For that reason, we cannot permit pets, (except guide dogs), into the buildings.
