A group of teenagers from the South West enjoyed a fun day out at the Grand Pier, Weston-super-Mare, as part of a respite break organised by nurses from local charity Jessie May.
The four teenage boys, Ryan, 12; Ryan, 13; Charlie, 14 and Josh, 17, chose to spend the day at Weston’s Grand Pier where they enjoyed making their way along the Pier to the Pavillion to play arcade games with the help of six trained Jessie May nurses.
The teens also enjoyed a complimentary lunch at the Boardwalk Café and visited the Sand Sculpture Exhibition on the beach.

We were delighted to help Tesco staff run a fundraising cream tea event for Macmillan Cancer Support on Friday 30th September. Usually filled with amusement machines we cleared the Great Hall in the Pier pavilion and transformed the space into a massive tea room.
Over 500 supporters came along to enjoy their cream teas, and help raise vital funds that allow Macmillan Cancer Support to undertake their inspirational work for people diagnosed with cancer.
