A chaotic kitchen, rude staff – and diners love it!

Wednesday 22nd January

When a night out guarantees a chaotic kitchen and a food served by rude and incompetent staff, rave reviews are the last thing you would expect!

The Faulty Towers Dining Experience is proving so popular at the Grand Pier in Weston-super-Mare that the attraction keeps bringing the show back for more servings!

The next performance, on January 31, is a complete sell out but it doesn’t mean you’ve missed out, because the popular characters from one of Britain’s best-loved sitcoms are returning to dish out more mayhem on Friday, April 17, and there are still some places available!

The Faulty Towers Dining Experience is official the world’s longest running and most successful tribute to Fawlty Towers, which starred – and was co-written by – John Cleese, who was born in Weston-super-Mare.

The ‘outrageously funny’ experience has enjoyed sell-out success all over the world, from Sydney Opera House to London’s West End, as well as playing at Edinburgh Fringe.

A talented team of actors bring the classic comedy characters, including Basil, Sybil and Manuel, to life in a fully immersive, highly-interactive evening, dishing up plenty of delights to diners.

Service with a scowl will be the order of the day as guests get a taste of that unique customer service offered by TV’s most inhospitable hotel, with all the chaos and confusion that made the BBC show such a favourite with generations of viewers.

Hollie Otley, Event Manager at the Grand Pier, said: “This is a very popular event, and with 70 percent of the show being improvised, it can truly be said that it’s never the same twice.

“We’ve hosted this show several times over the past few years and it’s been a sell-out on numerous occasions. It’s the one time that people come out for a meal and the ruder the staff are, the better the reviews are!

“It’s always very good fun and we would advise people to book early to avoid missing out.”
