Pokeingham-Softly-on-the-Wold is preparing to meet its famous new resident and a welcome party is planned. The entire village turns out for the celebration, but a sudden death disrupts plans and leads local celebrity and amateur sleuth Miss Mapletree into the world of showbusiness rivalry…and MURDER!
