The Grand Pier’s “The Wedding Expo” happening on March 8th & 9th, 2025, is not your typical wedding fair—it’s an immersive and unforgettable experience designed to inspire couples and connect them with the best wedding suppliers of the South West. Whether you’re planning your dream day or showcasing your business, this event offers something extraordinary for everyone.
Open from 10.30am – 4pm each day – If you want to enter one of the fabulous competitions to win an Engagement Party or Wedding, or why not both? Your entry must be handed in before 12pm each day!
Book your ticket before the 8th February and double your chance of winning one of the big competitions by being able to enter twice!!

Standard Ticket:
Tickets are £1 per person for an entry ticket onto the Grand Pier and includes the following:

– Standing View of the Fashion Show

VIP Tickets:
VIP Tickets are limited and available at £25pp and includes the following:
– Upgraded Goodie Bag
– Glass of Prosecco on arrival
– Reserved seating for the Fashion Show
– First access/choice to the wedding talks/workshops
– Access to all wedding inspired areas
– Access to all vendors and suppliers
– Opportunity to enter that days competition

Terms & Conditions
Tickets & Goodie Bags
- Only pre-purchased ticket holders will receive a Goodie Bag.
- Goodie Bags are limited to one per engaged couple.
- Pre-purchased tickets must be presented at The Grand Pier turnstiles for free entry. Without a ticket, the standard £1 Pier entrance fee will apply.
Engagement Party Prize – Saturday
- The engagement party prize, worth up to £4,000, will be available for entry upon arrival at the Wedding Expo check-in desk.
- The Prize Draw will take place on the Main Stage (Fashion Catwalk).
- To claim the prize, the winner must be present at the time of the draw. If the winner does not collect the prize when called, another winner will be selected.
- The engagement party prize includes:
- Use of the Regency Suite for up to 100 guests.
- A buffet of the winner’s choice: Fish and Chip Buffet or Hot Fork Buffet.
- Sweet Sart with a variety of Sweets.
- DJ
- Private Bar
- Welcome drink of Fizz for all guests
- White Linen tablecloths & coloured upgraded paper napkins
- Luxury Balloon Centrepieces
- Limewash Chivari Chairs
- Photographer for 3 hours – all images to be available to The Grand Pier for marketing purposes.
Wedding Prize – Sunday
- The wedding prize, worth up to £10,000, will be available for entry upon arrival at the Wedding Expo check-in desk.
- The prize draw will take place on the Main Stage (Fashion Catwalk).
- To claim the prize, the winner must be present at the time of the draw. If the winner does not collect the prize when called, another winner will be selected.
- The wedding prize includes:
- Venue: Exclusive use of the Tiffany Room for 60 guests, including the couple, from 13:00 PM to 1:00 AM.
- Bridal Suite: Includes Prosecco, Tea, Coffee, Snacks, and a Wedding Gift.
- Guest Arrival: Arrival on The Grand Pier Train for guests (weather permitting).
- Reception:
- Welcome Fizz (1 glass per guest).
- Big Kids Ride wristbands for all guests.
- Canapés (3 per guest).
- Dining:
- Table Wine (½ bottle per guest).
- 3-course sit-down meal.
- Evening Fish and Chip Buffet.
- Decor:
- Sweet Cart with six types of Sweets.
- Choice of in-house Centrepieces
- Chivari chairs, table linen, and upgraded coloured paper napkins.
- Ivory aisle runner with faux white flower edging.
- Trio gold arch backdrop with faux white flowers & draping.
- Signage, table plan, and place cards.
- Entertainment:
- Photo Booth with 200 prints.
- Evening DJ.
- Photographer from the ceremony until the first dance – all images to be available to The Grand Pier for marketing purposes.
- Important Notes for the Wedding Prize:
- The Grand Pier does not organise the registrar for the legal wedding ceremony; this must be arranged by the couple with the local council.
- The Grand Pier does not organise invited and transport for the wedding couple and guests.
- The wedding prize cannot be held during school holidays or bank holidays.
Additional Information
- For both prizes, all included elements are to be hosted exclusively at The Grand Pier.
- Any images taken by The Grand Pier’s photographers during the events may be used for promotional purposes.
- By entering the competition, the couple agrees to allow The Grand Pier to use any images of them collecting the prize or taken during their engagement party or wedding day for marketing, social media, or promotional purposes.
- The couple may be asked for an interview for The Grand Pier’s social media/marketing platforms.
