FAQ’s

I haven’t received my payment confirmation/menu and drink options/information from you?

When we first correspond with you there is a high chance that our email may be resting in your junk or spam folders. Please ensure you frequently check these so you don’t miss important information and deadlines from us.

Do I have to pay the £1 entry when attending an event or private function?

No you do not have to pay the entry fee to our attraction when you are coming to an event at The Grand Pier. Simply liaise with our team at the entrance upon arrival.

Are you able to supply your own external caterers?

We do not allow external caterers. However, we do offer a range of food options to suit all dietary requirements. Please contact our events team for further details.

Are suppliers granted vehicle access onto the Pier?

Suppliers are granted access to The Grand Pier between 9am – 10am and 5pm – 6pm. This also includes equipment drop-offs.

Are vehicles permitted to park on site?

Unfortunately, vehicles are not permitted to park on our premises. Instead, please take advantage of the public car parks located within walking distance of The Grand Pier.

Do you offer corkage?

We do not offer corkage.

Do you have storage facilities?

Our storage facilities are exclusively available for weddings only. We do not accept liability for any damage or loss of items at The Grand Pier.

Can your event continue past midnight?

Yes, this is possible with an additional charge for the extra hours.

Can we bring our own cake in for a special celebration?

You are more than welcome to bring along a cake for any celebration, just let us know when you wish to deliver your cake.

Can I buy tickets for an event on the night?

Typically, we have a box office located at the front of the Pier on the night of the event, providing the event has not sold out.

How many event rooms do you have?

We offer six distinctive and diverse function rooms for you to choose from, including The Great Hall, The Tiffany Room, Adventure Cove, Regency Suite, North Tower, and Coral Room.

Are events at The Grand Pier Accessible?

At The Grand Pier, we are committed to providing an inclusive and accessible experience for all our guests. We offer a wide range of accessible features to ensure that everyone can enjoy their visit. Each room is easily accessible by wheelchair and has an accessible toilet located nearby.

If you require additional accessibility needs when attending one of our events, please contact our events team so we make sure have any details we need prior to your visit. I have a filming & photography request what do I need to do?

The Grand Pier has been a sought-after location for filming and photography for many years, featuring on various TV channels such as BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Sky TV, and several advertising campaigns.

Our stunning Pier is available for production shoots all year round, but prior booking is necessary. Please drop us an email at info@grandpier.co.uk, providing the date and time of the shoot, the duration, the number of crew members, and a summary of the content and use of the shoot.
