A local man has organised a Variety Show at the Grand Pier, Weston-super-Mare to raise money and awareness for ataxia, a little known condition which affects mobility, speech and movement.
Paul Howe, a retired teacher from Weston, with support from his friend and local businessman, Perry March, decided to arrange the event after his niece was diagnosed with the condition. Money raised from the event will go to Ataxia UK, a charity that funds research to find treatments and cures and supports families affected.
