Description
Our most vibrant event of the year is back, and it’s set to be more magical than ever! On Friday 19 September, join hundreds of Weston Hospicecare supporters for the Moonlight Beach Walk – a stunning evening of colour, light, and remembrance along Weston-super-Mare’s beautiful seafront.
Choose from a 10km or 5km route, both starting and finishing at the iconic Grand Pier. As night falls, we’ll create a glowing sea of support in memory of loved ones, lighting up the coastline with t-shirts, illuminated accessories, and heartfelt tributes.
This family-friendly evening is more than just a walk – it’s a chance to come together, celebrate life, and raise funds for local families facing life-limiting illness.
Personal messages will be shared on the big screen, candle bags decorated and displayed on the sand, and t-shirts proudly worn with photos and names of those we remember.
What to expect on the night:
-Uplifting warm-ups and live DJ entertainment
-Sparkler station and selfie zone for unforgettable memories
-Glitter face painting and glowing merchandise stalls
-Refreshment stops along the way
-A celebratory glass of prosecco orange juice at the finish line
Whether you’re walking for fun, fitness, or in memory of someone special – come and be part of a truly unforgettable night!
What’s included with your entry:
-Entry to the 5km or 10km walk
-Moonlight Beach Walk t-shirt
-Personalised candle bag to decorate and display
-Full event safety support
Please note: All under 17s must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
