The Grand Pier is a long structure with a pavilion building at the end.

As you approach The Grand Pier, you will see the front with some kiosks on the side, this is called the main entrance.

When you arrive at the Pier, you will approach the entry barriers and see some shops and arcades on each side.
When you approach the main Pier, there will be some gates with a member of staff standing by them, these are called turnstiles.

If you have any questions, you can ask the member of staff and they can assist you.
Cash or card is accepted at the turnstiles.
Once you go through the turnstiles at the entrance, you’ll then go onto the wooden boardwalk, which will look like this:

Once you walk along the pier boardwalk, you’ll then approach the front entrance of the building, this is called the pavilion.

If you are unsure about where to go, you can ask a member of staff and they will help you. They will be wearing a red top with a Grand Pier logo on the front and back.
As you enter the front pavilion entrance, you’re on the ground floor of the pavilion, which includes sound and light, this is called the amusement arcade.

The ground floor houses amusement machines, as well as many rides and attractions, including: the Freefall drop tower, the House of Horrors Ghost Train, House of Mirrors, Crazy Circus, Dodgems and the Helter Skelter.
You can also access many catering outlets from the ground floor, including: the Grand Café, Boardwalk Café, Captain Jack’s Bar & Tiffany’s Restaurant.
If you need to use the toilet facilities during your visit, a member of staff can help you find them.
This is what the doors to the toilets look like. There are toilets on both floors of the pavilion.

If you have won some prize tickets from the arcade machines during your visit, you will need to insert all tickets into a machine like this:

This will then give you a receipt that you will need to hand in to a member of staff on the prize counter at the retail shop, where you are able to choose a prize.
Once you are ready to leave, you will make your way to the front of the pavilion on the ground floor and along the Pier boardwalk.

As you leave via the main Pier entrance, you will see a sign.

We hope you’ve had a lovely time and look forward to seeing you again!
