Grand Pier Proudly Sponsors Unicornfest 2023

We’re delighted to announce that the Grand Pier will be adding its own Unicorn to Unicornfest 2023.

Unicorn Fest is a magical trail around Bristol and the surrounding region. An adventure for the whole family using their app and an opportunity to collect selfies at different custom painted Unicorns, painted by Bristol Artists. Unicornfest, part of the 650th anniversary celebrations for Bristol, seeks to unite businesses and creative sectors, as well as local communities and schools across Bristol and the surrounding area, bringing art, colour and fun to the streets in 2023.

As well as an incredible trail of artwork across the region, Unicornfest is looking to raise awareness of leukaemia.

Leukaemia affects around 10,000 people per year and is the most common cancer in children – but did you know that Leukaemia is most common in adults aged 65 and above? We need to raise awareness of that fact. Zack Pemberton-Whitely, Chief Executive Officer of Leukaemia Care said, “We’re looking to work with businesses and community groups to bring this trail to life whilst helping to raise money for leukaemia Care and help us to continue our work in supporting anybody affected by a diagnosis of leukaemia. Working together we can be part of something magical”.
