What is the event this year and do we get to meet Santa?
This year, you’ll be greeted by Santa’s elves whilst you wait to meet the big man himself in his grotto! All children will receive a gift to take home.
Does my booking include entry to the Grand Pier?
Yes, please show your booking on arrival to the welcome team. Free entry only applies to those ticket holders to the Grotto.

Yes, all children will receive a gift to take home.
Will this be a shared visit with other families?
Yes, our Santa’s Grotto experience is designed as a shared visit, with a small group of families participating together.
When does the grotto open?
The grotto opens will be here from Saturday 23rd November, until Tuesday 24th December from 11am – 3:40pm. The Grinch will be available Saturday 30th November, Saturday 14th December, Sunday 15th December & Saturday 21st December. Each experience will last approximately 10 minutes.
When does the grotto close?
The grotto closes on Christmas Eve, Tuesday 24th December. The final session will start at 2.40pm.
Will my child get to meet Santa or the Grinch?
If you have booked to meet Santa on any of the Santa’s Grotto dates your child will get to meet Santa, if however, you have booked for the 30th November 14th, 15th or 21st December, the naughty Mr Grinch has taken over the Grotto, so limited Santa slots will be available.
What age is the grotto suitable for?
The grotto is suitable for children aged 18 months to 10 years, but it really is fun for all!
How much will my visit cost?
Standard Tickets to the grotto cost £14.95 this includes entry for one child and accompanying adult plus a gift.
Are there any additional costs?
Yes, there is a charge of £3.50 per additional adult if you wish to bring your partner or a family member. You may also wish to pay an additional £7.50 to upgrade your child’s entry to include 7 of our thrilling rides (subject to height and age).
We also offer a variety of souvenirs to purchase including a printed photo, keyring or bauble of your visit! You may also want to pre-book your Christmas dinner in Tiffanys.
Is there a charge for babies in arms under 12 months old?
There is no charge, unless you wish for your child to participate in the grotto experience and receive a giftt, in which case, please purchase a standard ticket.
Why should I book in advance?
We recommend that you pre-book your tickets to avoid disappointment, availability is not guaranteed and tickets are very limited.
Will I receive a ticket once I have booked?
Yes, you will be emailed an e-ticket, you can either print your ticket or show it on your mobile phone at the entrance to the experience.
Do you offer refunds?
We regret that we are unable to refund unwanted tickets. If the event cannot go ahead, then guests will be refunded. If you are unwell then we will try to accommodate you another time, subject to availability.
When should I arrive?
We recommend that you arrive at the event 5 minutes before your pre-booked time slot. Your booking is set for a 20-minute window, so you have plenty of time to arrive for your 10 minute magical experience.
Where is the grotto located?
The grotto is located on the first floor of Grand Pier next to our Adventure Cove Cafe
Is there access for wheelchairs?
There is full disability access throughout using the lift to the first floor.
