So, what is Unicornfest?

Take a journey on the magical trail around Bristol and South West landmarks and experience countless exciting family adventures throughout the whole of summer. Key landmarks include Puxton Park, Airhop, West Country Water Park and of course, The Grand Pier! Be sure to collect selfies at different custom painted Unicorn Sculptures, painted by many local artists, as well as enjoy lots of tasty, unicorn inspired treats and take part in many fun-filled, unicorn themed activities along the way!

Introducing Leukaemia Care, Bristol Unicorn Festivals chosen charity

As well as creating an incredible trail of Unicorns for families to discover, Unicorn Fest is purposefully looking to raise awareness for its chosen charity, Leukaemia Care. Leukaemia is a type of blood cancer that affects around 10,000 people per year and is the most common cancer in children.

With Unicorns having a prominent involvement in the city of Bristol’s history, the Bristol Unicorn Festival team wanted to recognise this through fantastic artwork whilst raising awareness and funds through sponsorships for Leukaemia Care.

The Grand Pier are proud sponsors of Leukaemia Care.

What can I expect to see at The Grand Pier?

Come on down to The Grand Pier for a jam-packed day of fun, laughter and of course, Unicorns! Our very own Unicorn Sculpture, Sandy will be standing proud at the entrance to the Pier, ready for her many selfies with our visitors.

Sandy has been busy spreading some magic in the lead up to summer across some of our usual seaside treats. Why not try our glitter covered Mr Whippy, given a touch of magic by our very own unicorn? Or alternatively, try our unicorn inspired candy floss or ice cold slushie, perfect for cooling off after a day on the beach!

Starting from the 1st of July, we will be offering FREE unicorn themed face painting, alongside hair braiding and kids tattooing every Saturday.

We’re delighted to be part of Unicornfest 2023 #theunicornfest
